I took a few years off from making bags until it excited me again. We’re back! Round reed is lending itself to subtle patterns, braided rims, and a generally more enjoyable process for me. This one and a couple others will be available tomorrow

Emily Ridings is a Kentucky-born artist and craftswoman whose work reinterprets the ancestral art of basketry through a modern, intuitive lens. Based in Lexington, KY, Emily creates sculptural and functional pieces by hand using reed and wood, emphasizing sustainability and zero-waste production.
